Self Discovery, And How To
Increase Self Esteem

This free self esteem worksheet will show you how to increase self esteem by transforming what you don't want into what you do want in life. It will help you to begin to allow, and live your possibilities.

When we focus on the things about ourselves that we aren't happy with, our self esteem is low. Then, it seems the worse we feel, the more things happen that hurts our self esteem and confidence.

This is the Law of Attraction in action!

Since we are so into the habit of focusing on the things we don't want, let's put that to our advantage, and use it to help us discover what it is we do want. Finding out what we want for ourselves in life, can be one of our most difficult feats. But, before we can begin to be what we are meant to be, and live the life intended for us, we have to discover what those things are.

I came up with the idea for this worksheet after reading about the technique in Esther and Jerry Hick's book, "The Law Of Attraction". Doing this exercise will help you stop focusing on negativity, identify your desires, set goals, attract what you want, and increase self esteem.

How To Increase Self Esteem -- Worksheet Instructions

Get a blank sheet of paper, and a pen, and find a place where you can sit comfortably without being disturbed. Draw a line down the middle of the paper. Label one side "what I don't want", and label the other side "what I do want".

Try to come up with ten things that are causes of low self esteem for you. For example...

...Guilt, being overweight, a lack of education, feeling bad about your looks, having financial insecurity, etc.

Then, going back to the top, next to each thing you don't want, write down what you would rather have. For example, one of the things that used to cause me low self esteem was having a bad body image. That was something I didn't want, and needed to stop focusing on. What I wanted was to feel good about my looks -- to be fit and healthy.

If you feel that your desire is impossible, write down the next best thing that you feel you can achieve -- or break your goal down into smaller steps that you can easily master.

Now, whenever you start thinking about the things you don't like about yourself, stop and replace that focus on what you do want. Spend some time visualizing that you already have it. And, don't worry about how it will happen...

...That worry will attract more of what you don't want. Just keep your eyes open for opportunites to take steps toward your goal, and act on them. Your can read about how to increase self esteem by allowing your possibilities here.

Keep at it! As you stop focusing on your imagined flaws and weaknesses, you will begin to develop your potential, and strengths -- through the Law of Attraction. Focusing often on your dreams attracts them to you. This is why vision boards are so effective. If for some reason, you aren't able to imagine your desire, there is something in your personal belief system that needs to be looked at. Identify, and challenge it.
