This self esteem worksheet helps you take inventory of your personal belief system. You will easily identify, and eliminate the beliefs that keep you living what I call, a bad self esteem dream. Why?...
...Your beliefs are creating your reality.
When you make choices based on the self defeating beliefs that cause your low self esteem, you create experiences that confirm it. For example...
...If you believe that you aren't capable of manifesting a fulfilling career that pays what you'd like to make, a happy harmonious relationship, or whatever would be a part of the life of your dreams, you won't go after them. What happens then?...
...Does the perfect job, or perfect mate just fall into your lap? Probably not, and when it doesn't, you will continue to feel self-pity, and beat yourself up for being a failure. From these examples, you can clearly see that the beliefs that cause low self esteem are not serving you. They are stunting your growth.
In this exercise, you will write down the beliefs behind your low self esteem. List as many as you can think of. For example, what do you believe about...
Try to find all the beliefs you have about yourself...
...Do you believe that you owe your parents? Do you believe that you have no right to your own life? Why do you remain in disharmony? Do you believe you are helpless?
People with low self esteem sometimes limit themselves severely. Rainey said, " I remained in a low paying, job of drudgery for years because I believed that it would be extremely difficult, if not impossible, for me to improve my situation. When I became too physically ill to continue, life showed me a better way."
When you are living in harmony or, in the flow with yourself, life often throws down the red carpet, so to speak. When you are out of the flow, everything is a struggle.
Do you need approval from others? What negative beliefs do you have that tell you that your feelings, and opinions aren't good enough?
You will find that eliminating your negative beliefs are very much like peeling an onion...
...Beliefs upholding more beliefs. Eventually you will come to the core belief that either makes no sense, or is simply not true.
Keep going through your list, and look carefully at your personal belief system. You probably will not complete this in one day, and I guarantee that you'll use more than one sheet of paper. I think I filled up an entire notebook, or two! It takes time, but it's worth it.
Have some self limiting beliefs you just can't budge? Write them down on a separate piece of paper labeled, "Beliefs For EFT".
EFT, or the "Emotional Freedom Technique" will help you "tap" away the last of your negative personal belief system. You can learn more about that in our article on EFT Help For Low Self Esteem here.

"Beliefs have the power to create and the power to destroy. Human beings have the awesome ability to take any experience of their lives and create a meaning that dis-empowers them or one that can literally save their lives."
