Self Esteem Exercises In Meditation For Building Confidence And Self Esteem

Learning these self esteem exercises in meditation is one of the most powerful actions you can take to increase confidence, and build self esteem.

One of the first things I was taught when I began my Spiritual healing journey, was how to meditate, and silence my "monkey mind" -- which was full of negative internal self talk.

I'll share that technique, and other effective self esteem exercises in meditation, with you here.

Meditation brings clarity to your mind, and allows you to see yourself, and the world around you, from a higher perspective. Once you experience the effects of meditation, and realize how powerful it can be, you, like many many others, may decide to make meditation a lifelong practice.

If you've never meditated before, and are thinking of all the things you've heard about it -- that it doesn't work, you can get possessed by demons, and you have to sit in miserable positions -- forget all that...

...Allow me to explain what meditation is, and how it works.

What Is Meditation?

Contrary to popular belief, meditation is not "relaxation". Nor is it staring at a campfire and letting your mind wander...

...Meditation is focused awareness. Mouni Sadhu, author of the great meditation classics, "Concentration -- A Guide To Mental Mastery", and "Meditation -- An Outline For Practical Study", said meditation "is the active, unswerving direction of your awareness upon a chosen theme, (or subject) without any deviations or forgetting of it, holding it before your mind's eye for the required time."

Meditation requires single mindedness  or your undivided attention to your subject, or theme. As for demonic possession...

...Do you ever go around lost in your thoughts -- thinking about what previously happened, or what might happen, or thinking negative, self defeating and self-limiting thoughts -- while being swept along on an emotional rollercoaster ride?...

...That's not awareness.

When you do that you are unconscious of your surroundings, and unaware of your self. If there is any chance of a demon sneaking into your mind to possess you, this is it!

At to posture, the important thing is sitting erect with your spine straight. Sitting in the lotus position, or other potentially uncomfortable postures, isn't required -- and potentially harmful if you aren't properly instructed, or in shape for it.

Benefits Of Meditation

All throughout this website, you will hear me saying over and over -- "self esteem comes from self knowledge". Many people mistake their authentic Self with the false self, or ego with it's low self esteem, jealousy, fears, and all of it's other manifestations...

Meditation can be used to focus the light of awareness upon the false self -- dissolving what was never real in the first place -- and allowing the authentic Self to shine forth.

It is one of the best self development tools ever invented. Regular, and dedicated meditation practice may also lead to the development of "psychic" powers and abilities. And, it is through meditation, that many creative ideas, and inspirations come...

...The powerful guided meditation called "Quantum Jumping", more than fits this description.

"The process of self-development leads to ever increasing self esteem, and self confidence."

The self esteem exercises below are powerful, effective, and are also great meditation techniques for beginners, as well as advanced meditators...
